In a first, MPs use app to mark their attendance in Parliament

For the first time, MPs marked their attendance through an app called 'Attendance Register' on the first day of the 18-day Monsoon session of Parliament on Monday. The app aims at curtailing the risk of coronavirus spread as MPs no longer need to touch the attendance register. They must be present inside the Parliament to register themselves on the app.
