In a setback for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh has resigned from the Punjab Legislative Assembly ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. His resignation comes after two other party MLAs, Chetan Singh Jouramajra and Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, resigned from the party's primary membership on Sunday. The party had earlier suspended Vijay over alleged anti-party activities.
