In a U-turn, Nepal says it has not asked for compensation from India

After naming India among "top polluters" following flash floods in Nepal and seeking compensation, Nepal's Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal issued a clarification. "Neither I nor...Government of Nepal has...asked for compensation from India...Our call has been for the global community to look at this disaster from the perspective of climate change and the impact it's having in Nepal," Khanal said.
