In-laws give HIV-infected injection to UP woman over dowry demands

A 30-year-old woman was allegedly given HIV-infected injection by her in-laws after her parents failed to meet dowry demands. A Saharanpur court has ordered UP police to file a criminal complaint against the in-laws. Victim's father, who spent ₹45 lakh on wedding, said the accused demanded ₹10 lakh and big SUV after marriage. The injection incident happened in May 2024.
