A video showed Chinese startup Spirit AI's humanoid robot performing daily household tasks such as sorting waste and slicing vegetables, highlighting their mobility and object-manipulation capabilities. The robot was seen grasping water bottles, manipulating them and placing them in a fridge. Earlier, founder Gao Yang forecast a ChatGPT-like breakthrough in robot "brains" by mid-2027.
