In pics: Soldiers along LoC celebrating Diwali away from family

The Indian Army celebrated Diwali along the Line of Control (LoC). Away from their homes, troops marked the festival ahead of the main day. In the pictures, they can be seen lighting diyas along the fence, bursting crackers and performing puja. As a tradition, members of the Army and Border Security Force light diyas (lamps) along the border each year.
