In Pictures: Japan's Shiki-shima luxury cruise train

The champagne-gold Train Suite Shiki-shima embarked on its maiden journey from Tokyo on May 1. The 10-car train accommodates 34 passengers in 17 suites, with prices reaching up to ¥950,000 (around ₹5.5 lakh) per person. Operated by the East Japan Railway, it features a five-star lounge, a menu devised by a Michelin-starred chef and dining and observatory cars.
