The 90th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was organised on Thursday in New York City. The parade, which covered an area of about 4 kilometres, had a line-up of novelty balloons, marching bands, performers, clowns and performance groups. The tradition of the parade began in 1924 by Macy's, an American retail chain.
