In rare move, Amazon allows Indian staff to WFH amid H-1B visa delays; imposes restrictions
Amazon is making the rare move of easing its return-to-office mandate by allowing Indian employees, hit by H-1B visa delays, to work remotely until March 2, 2026, Business Insider reported. Amazon has, however, barred such employees from coding, interacting with customers or third parties and withdrawn their decision-making authority. They're not allowed to work at Amazon's India offices either.
