In setback to Mamata-led TMC, SC dismisses plea against EC decision on vote counting supervisors

The Supreme Court has dismissed TMC's plea seeking an order against the Election Commission's decision to appoint only central government and PSU employees as counting supervisors and assistants for vote counting on May 4. The court noted that TMC representative will be there during counting of votes in West Bengal and added that EC's circular is not against the rules.
