In touch with authorities: India as man handcuffed at US airport

After an alleged Indian student was handcuffed before being deported from US' Newark Airport, Indian Consulate General in New York said it's in touch with authorities. "Consulate remains ever committed [to]...welfare of Indian Nationals," the Consulate said in a statement. A video of the student had been shared online by an Indian-origin entrepreneur, Kunal Jain, who was at the airport.
