In touch with family: MEA after Indian-origin woman's suicide in US

Days after Indian-origin woman Mandeep Kaur died by suicide in US allegedly over domestic abuse, India's External Affairs Ministry on Friday informed that the Indian Consulate in New York is in touch with the family and local authorities. "Our embassy in Washington is in contact with the US authorities, who assured us of appropriate action," MEA Spokesperson said.
