In UP's Bisrakh village, Ravana's death is mourned, not celebrated

While the country is immersed in celebrations of Dussehra, Bisrakh village in Uttar Pradesh mourns Ravana's death. The residents of this village claim to be descendants of Ravana and it is said that Bisrakh is his birthplace. They refer to Ravana as the son of their village. For them, Dussehra is observed quite differently than the revelry seen across India.
