Income Tax Dept enables ITR-2 filing for AY 2026-27

The Income Tax Department has enabled online filing of ITR-2 for AY 2026-27 on its e-filing portal. The form applies to individuals and HUFs with income from capital gains, salary or pension, multiple house properties, and other sources such as interest and dividends. It is not meant for taxpayers with business or professional income.
