Income Tax Dept releases section-wise mapping of I-T Act, Tax bill

The Income Tax Department has released a section-to-section mapping as per the Income Tax Act,1961 and section number as per the new Income Tax Bill. The department has also launched a utility to match the sections of the Act with the corresponding clauses in the simplified new Bill. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the Bill on Thursday.
