Increase minimum wage to ₹400, work days to 150 in MGNREGA: Sonia

Congress MP Sonia Gandhi demanded an increase in MGNREGA's daily minimum wage to ₹400 and guaranteed work days to 150 days per year while speaking in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. "These measures are essential to ensure that MGNREGA provides dignified employment and financial security," Sonia said. She also demanded the removal of the mandatory Aadhaar-based payment system under MGNREGA.
