India include Rohit, Kohli in T20I squad for Afghanistan series

Rohit Sharma will lead India in three T20Is against Afghanistan, their last series before the 2024 T20 World Cup. The squad also includes Virat Kohli. Neither man has played T20Is since India lost the 2022 World Cup semi-final. Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, or Ruturaj Gaikwad, all of whom have captained India at T20Is in 2023, are injured and missed out.
