IND vs ENG: Joe Root scores most runs against India in Test format

The 3rd day of the 1st Test match between India and England saw some brilliant cricket. Joe Root came to the crease after Bumrah produced a peach to dismiss Ben Duckett. He surpassed Ricky Pointing's score becoming the highest run scorer by a batter against India in Test matches. Root showed his class with some lovely performances in Indian conditions.
