Independent film 'Dihadi' makers flag similarities with India's Oscar entry 'Homebound'

Makers of independent film 'Dihadi' shared an Instagram post comparing scenes from their film with those from 'Homebound', sparking debate online. They, however, clarified the reel wasn't meant as an allegation, saying, "[It]...was made to bring awareness for small budget films." Homebound was shortlisted for Oscars, but failed to secure a nomination in Best International Feature Film category.
