India, Belgium should collaborate on lab-grown diamonds: Goyal

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal proposed India-Belgium collaboration on lab-grown diamonds, focusing on technology and certification. Speaking at an India-EU FTA dialogue with Belgian PM Bart De Wever, Goyal suggested anchoring the initiative in Antwerp, Mumbai, and Surat. HRD Antwerp also expanded its facility at Bharat Diamond Bourse, boosting research capacity by 30%.
