India, GCC reaffirm freedom of navigation at UNGA meet

EAM Jaishankar co-chaired the India-GCC Troika Ministerial meeting in New York on the sidelines of UNGA, reaffirming commitment to freedom of navigation and seafarer safety. The meeting reviewed the India-GCC Joint Action Plan 2024–28 and welcomed the launch of FTA negotiations. GCC is India's largest trade partner with $178 billion in bilateral trade in 2024-25.
