India, Germany to expand energy ties into green hydrogen

India and Germany are exploring cooperation in grid expansion, battery storage, critical minerals, and green hydrogen, said German Embassy's Alexandre Callegaro at the 20th anniversary of the Indo-German Energy Forum. Germany's Gottfried von Gemmingen also reaffirmed Berlin's support for India's energy transition at the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit 2026.
