India, Singapore sign MoU on semiconductors during PM Modi's visit

India and Singapore have signed four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for cooperation in semiconductors, digital technologies, skill development and healthcare, government said on Thursday. This comes amid PM Narendra Modi's visit to the city-state. Notably, Singapore accounts for 10% of all chips produced in the world and 20% of global production of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
