India abstains from UN resolution to end Israel's occupation of Palestine

India on Wednesday abstained from voting on a resolution demanding an end to Israel's occupation in Palestine in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The resolution was passed by the 193-member body with 124 nations voting in its favour. Fourteen members, including the US and Israel, voted against the resolution, while 43 members, including UK, Canada, Germany, Ukraine, etc abstained.
