India accuses Kia Motors of evading ₹1,354 crore in taxes: Report

The Indian government has accused South Korean automaker Kia Motors of evading taxes to the tune of $155 million (₹1,354 crore), Reuters reported. The offence centred on incorrect declaration of imports of components for the assembly of the carmaker's luxury Carnival minivan, the report added. The carmaker has denied wrongdoing.
