India-Africa forum summit postponed amid Ebola outbreak fears

The Ebola health emergency in Africa cast its shadow on India’s diplomatic calendar with the MEA on Thursday ‌announcing postponement of the India-Africa Forum Summit-IV that was scheduled for May 28-31. The 4th Summit has been delayed multiple times due to global health emergencies, including Ebola earlier and Covid-19 later. The last summit was held in New Delhi in 2015.
