India is among the global hotspots for climate-related sleep loss, according to a study by Climate Central. People in the southern parts of India lose 78-91 hours of sleep annually, including eight-nine hours due to climate change, it added. The analysis of 107 Indian cities found Chennai (93 hours), Mumbai (84 hours) and Kolkata (80 hours) among the worst affected.
