India and China to begin trade via Himachal Pradesh from June 1 after 6-year break

After six-year break, trade between India and China is set to begin from June 1 via Himachal Pradesh's Shipki La Pass. Kinnaur Deputy Commissioner Amit Sharma, who held a meeting to assess the administration's readiness, said warehouses and shops will be built for traders at Namgya Gram Panchayat. Better coordination will be ensured with Indian Army, ITBP and Customs Department.
