India appoints Satyanjal Pandey as new Chargé d'Affaires to Pak

India has appointed outgoing Deputy High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Satyanjal Pandey, as the new Chargé d'Affaires (CdA) to Pakistan. He will hold this position in the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, replacing Geetika Srivastava. The Indian and Pakistani missions in Islamabad and New Delhi have remained without High Commissioners since August 2019 and are headed by their respective CdAs.
