India approves country's most advanced stealth fighter jet programme

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) Programme Execution Model amid tensions with Pakistan. Aeronautical Development Agency is set to execute the programme through an industry partnership, government said. Fifth-generation AMCA is India's most advanced stealth fighter jet and, as per government, it's cheaper than similar aircraft available outside.
