India, ASEAN agree to review free trade pact on goods by 2025

India and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have agreed to review a free trade agreement on goods between both parties. Officials will follow a quarterly schedule of negotiations and conclude the review of the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) by 2025. Last month, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal called the agreement "unfair" to the Indian industry.
