India asks Russia to ease language rules, remove barriers to boost exports

India has told Russia that the success of rupee-based trade depends on lowering non-tariff barriers, especially in electronics and engineering goods, as per Moneycontrol. India flagged mandatory Russian-language packaging, along with multiple shifting standards, as key hurdles. India is urging Russia to ease these norms to boost exports and better utilise Vostro account balances, an official said.
