India-Australia joint military exercise AUSTRAHIND 2026 kicks off

The fifth edition of AUSTRAHIND, an India-Australia joint military exercise, began Monday at Thiruvananthapuram's Foreign Training Node. Running till November 1, it involves ~120 personnel each from both armies, focusing on coastal and island operations, surveillance, and HADR response. New Zealand will participate as an observer delegation for the first time.
