India avoid handshake with Bangladesh in Under-19 World Cup match

India captain Ayush Mhatre and Bangladesh vice-captain Zawad Abrar avoided the customary handshake during the toss of their ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026 group match in Bulawayo. This comes amid tensions between the two nations over killings of minorities in Bangladesh. Abrar came out for the toss instead of regular captain Azizul Hakim Tamim due to unknown reasons.
