India backs Palestine's bid for UN membership, reiterates 2-state solution

India reaffirmed its support for Palestine's UN membership and a two-state solution at a meeting in Brussels on Monday. The MEA said India is engaged in major healthcare, women's empowerment and institution-building projects and announced new ones focused on rehabilitation, health, education and vocational training. The State of Palestine is currently a non-member permanent observer state in UN.
