Amid tensions with Pakistan, India's Directorate General of Shipping has banned ships bearing flag of Pakistan from visiting all Indian ports. "An Indian flag ship shall not visit any Ports of Pakistan," it added. "This order is issued to ensure safety of Indian assets, cargo and connected infrastructure, in public interest and for interest of Indian shipping," it added.
