India defeated 2022 Asian Games bronze medallists Thailand 3-2 in women’s table tennis team event at Asian Games 2026 to reach the quarter-finals. Sreeja Akula lost 2-3 to Orawan Paranang, while Yashaswini Ghorpade beat Suthasini Sawettabut 3-2. Jinnipa Sawettabut beat Diya Chitale 3-2. Yashaswini and Sreeja then beat Orawan 3-0 and Suthasini 3-1, respectively, in the fourth and fifth games.
