India beat Italy to reach FIH Women's World Cup Qualifiers finals

Indian women's hockey team earned their spot in the final of the FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers 2026 as they beat Italy 1-0 in their semi-final contest on Friday. With the decisive goal by midfielder Manisha Chauhan in the 40th minute, India will now face England in the final. Notably, India have also qualified for 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup.
