India on Sunday became the first country to play 1,000 ODIs. India defeated West Indies by six wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to win the milestone match. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal's four-wicket haul helped India dismiss West Indies for 176 in 43.5 overs. India chased down the target in 28 overs, driven by captain Rohit Sharma's 60(51).
