India calls OIC's statement on Indo-Pak tensions 'absurd', says 'issued at Pak's behest'

After the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) called for restraint amid India-Pakistan tensions, MEA called OIC's statement absurd, adding that it was issued at the behest of Pakistan. "This is yet another attempt by Pakistan, a country that has long engaged in cross-border terrorism, to manipulate and misguide the OIC Group to issue a self-serving statement," MEA said.
