India can't interfere, but can persuade: Tharoor on B'desh unrest
After a Hindu man was mob-lynched in Bangladesh, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said while India cannot interfere in Dhaka’s internal affairs but can use its diplomatic influence. He said New Delhi could urge Bangladesh’s interim government to take constructive steps to curb violence against minorities. Tharoor also praised the Modi government’s handling of the situation after Sheikh Hasina’s ouster.
