India contributes 20% of global chip design workforce

India now accounts for 20% of the world's chip design and VLSI workforce. At SEMICON India, Intel's Iyengar revealed that over 85,000 semiconductor skillsets have been developed in the country, highlighting India's growing role in the global semiconductor industry.
