India create history, smash most sixes in a T20I series or tournament

India slammed 19 sixes against England in their T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, taking their tally of sixes in the ongoing tournament to 88. These are the most number of sixes hit by any team in any T20I series or tournament. The previous highest was 78 sixes recorded by Bulgaria during a 2025 tri-series.
