India cuts Chenab water flow amid tensions with Pakistan: Report

Days after suspending the Indus Waters Treaty to punish Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack, India has curtailed the flow of water through Baglihar Dam on Chenab River, according to reports. India is also planning similar measures at the Kishanganga Dam on Jhelum River, reports added. These dams reportedly offer India the ability to regulate the timing of water releases.
