India deploys upgraded MiG-29 fighter jets in Srinagar, visuals surface

India deployed MiG-29 fighter jets and replaced MiG-21 fighter jets in the Srinagar base, visuals of which surfaced online. The jets, reportedly deployed to tackle threats from China and Pakistan, have cockpits capable of night vision, increased fuel capacity and include air-to-ground armament, IAF's Shivam Rana said. The jets can jam enemy aircraft's capabilities during conflict, officials said.
