India dispatches first batch of medical aid to Africa amid Ebola outbreak

Amid Ebola outbreak in parts of Africa, EAM S Jaishankar said India has dispatched the first tranche of urgent medical supplies and protective kits to Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. “Committed to support Africa in responding to emerging Ebola public health emergency,” he added. The WHO has declared Ebola outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
