India end Intercontinental Cup with 1-1 draw against Syria

India were held to a 1-1 draw by Syria in their last league match of the 2019 Intercontinental Cup in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. India scored through a 51st-minute header by 18-year-old Narender Gahlot, who also scored his first-ever international goal for India. India had lost their first two matches against Tajikistan and North Korea.
