India extends ₹724 cr Line of Credit to Mauritius for defence purchases

India has offered over ₹724 crore in Line of Credit to Mauritius to facilitate procurement of defence assets. India also signed a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation and Partnership Agreement with Mauritius, the first of its kind with an African nation, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said. Mauritius reiterated its support for India's candidacy as a permanent member of UN Security Council.
