India eyes 10 lakh jobs, $100 bn investment in 15 yrs in Switzerland deal

India and the Swiss Confederation exchanged several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), with a provision of $100 billion in investment and 10 lakh direct jobs in India over the next 15 years. The two countries also signed agreements on migration and mobility cooperation, and the exchange of young professionals. Notably, this marks India's first FTA with an economic bloc in Europe.
