India faces top risk of disinformation in 2024 polls: WEF

‘The Global Risks Report 2024’ of the World Economic Forum ranks India first in facing the highest risk of misinformation and disinformation worldwide at a time when it faces general elections this year. It claims to reveal the varying degrees to which misinformation and disinformation are rated problems for a selection of analysed countries in the next two years.
